Winnipeg, Manitoba, has one of the world's largest aboriginal populations. In this gritty and often emotionally violent feature, activist-filmmaker Gonick partnered with celebrated cinematographer Ed Lachman to vividly dramatize the explosive underbelly of that Canadian city's Native community.
