American born Malayali & spoiled brat Johns Isaac (Dulquer Salmaan) is sent to India against his will by his father Isaac John (Lalu Alex), along with his cousin Kora (Jacob Gregory), to learn a lesson in simple living, but folks back in Kerala mistake the duo of leaving the luxuries of the US on their own to learn about poverty, & a media circus ensues which elevates them to the status of youth icons. Meanwhile Johns & Korah were plotting to procure enough money to buy tickets back to the US.

D.P Pallickal (Fahadh Faasil), an amateur film maker based in the US, tries to make a movie with an old washed out Hindi actor Prem Kumar (Vijay Raaz).With the help of an untalented & wacky crew they set out to make the first epic Malayalam film from America starring an unknown Hindi actor. Their master plan soon fails as Prem Kumar's alcoholism exacerbates & D.P's patience runs out.

Raghu (Biju Menon), a married middle-aged cop, still pines for his childhood flame Anuradha, & is gruff towards his son Abhi (Asif Ali) & wife Suma (Asha Sharath). Abhi meanwhile, dumps his girlfriend Elizabeth aka Eli (Rajisha Vijayan), but watches with jealousy as his friend dates Eli. Raghu then starts talking to Eli on the phone mistaking her for Anuradha, but the relationship softens Raghu's behavior at home. Finally, on the day of Eli's wedding, Abhi decides he wants her back.
