Three men from diverse backgrounds are brought together in this action-packed drama. Set in Bombay amidst the threat of terrorist attacks, the story centers on vengeful cop Ajit (Ajay Devgan), lovelorn driver Amjad (Akshay Kumar) and struggling actor Avinash (Tusshar Kapoor). Playing out a bet, college pals Raj (Akshay Kumar) & Bonny (Deepak Tijori) fake the kidnapping of a classmate, Sheetal (Sabeeha), & collect a ransom from her father, prominent businessman Kailashnath (Prem Chopra). But things take a dark turn when Sheetal is killed & the investigating officer, Suresh Malhotra (Shakti Kapoor), who also happened to be Raj's elder brother, begins to suspect Raj & Bonny of committing the murder. Amar Saxena is a businessman, and the Managing Director of prestigious Khaitan Fans Ltd., India. One day while leaving from a board meeting, he meets a beggar named Jagmohan, who calls him Rohit, and asks him to return home to his ailing wife, Seema. Amar denies being Rohit, but feels sorry for him and gives him some money, which Jagmohan declines to accept. Curious at his refusal, Amar offers to help.
