He came to the Hong Kong entertainment industry running the comedic "Hui Brothers Show." Shortly afterward, in went into films in the early 1970s. He would often star with his brothers Ricky Hui and Samuel Hui in his comedies, usually movies about pitting their wits against the odds to earn instant money.
