A Spanish novelist is asked to write captions and commentary for a cache of unsent letters and photos by an Argentinian killed during the Spanish Civil War. Traveling to Argentina, she discovers parallels between herself and the woman who was the subject of the photos/addressee of the unsent letters, especially when she meets people who knew her and the Argentinian.

Is it possible to live aside of the system, thinking only about the present and oneself? A feature film about Manuel Vázquez, the best comic book author in Barcelona during the sixties, but, mainly, a man with a very particular way of living his life. (imdb)
