Franco and Ciccio are owners of a delicatessen which has been temporarily forced to close due to problems with the tax department. Whilst they are on this break, they receive an invitation from Nico Cavallero, Franco's godfather, to go for a holiday in the mountains with the object of using them to do his own dirty work.
