While he's doing this, Popeye makes him lose his concentration, so in retaliation, the hypnotist pulls Olive on stage and turns her into a chicken. Popeye comes down to fight and the hypnotist tries to turn him into a monkey, but Popeye pulls a mirror into place. Popeye's failures in the kitchen send him on a quest for a wife. He visits the "matrimonial agency" and picks Olive at the same time Bluto picks her. A Mardi Gras celebration, looking pretty much like any carnival. Bluto is a strongman, claiming to be King of the Mardi Gras, and drawing a large crowd. Popeye, nearby, claims only, "I yam what I yam," and has no crowd, but still draws Bluto's wrath. He manages to spoil a balance trick, then tops it with Wimpy in a chair. Olive then volunteers to be levitated; Bluto pulls her over and saws her in half. Olive escapes to a roller coaster with the boys in pursuit. (imdb)

When the citizens decide to each enter an animal in the County Fair contest, Casper picks a pig as his choice, though the pig is not real happy leaving his mud puddle.

Two writers at Paramount Cartoon Studios try to think of good stories for Casper the Friendly Ghost. They review scenes from "Casper's Spree Under The Sea," "Once Upon A Rhyme" and "To Boo Or Not To Boo." Eventually Casper himself emerges from a poster on the wall and scares the writers away. Casper explains that he thought up that gag to end the cartoon!

The birth of Baby Huey! The headlines in "Barnyard Eggstra" read: "Duck Lays Huge Egg. Mother Eggcited. Egg To Be Named Huey." A fox steals the giant egg and escapes with it. When he uses a hammer to crack the egg, Baby Huey is hatched. The fox tries to cook the king-size duckling. Huey mistakes the fox for his mommy and thinks that he's just trying to give him a bath. He chases the fox, thinking that the fox is his mother and trying to escape him.

There's good boos tonight: Frightday the 13th. All the ghosts plan on going out to scare someone... except for Casper the Friendly Ghost, who goes out and makes friends with Lucky the black cat. This cartoon has a really good music score.

She questions the animals, many of which resemble famous show-business people, and finds out that it was her own pet-canary who shot the arrow, that killed Cock Robin, meant as a valentine. Katnip is making life miserable for Herman's little mice cousin, so he takes them to a tropical paradise island where there are no cats, and the little 'meece' are very happy...until Katnip makes an entrance. Little Audrey, wishing she had a pet of her own, frees a lion from his cage in the zoo and, disguising it as a dog, takes him home with her. Betty's young cousin, Buzzy, takes the train to visit Betty. On the train, she's helpful, in a bratty kind of way, using her chewing gum to stick on a sleeping man's toupee, watering the flowers in a lady's hat, etc. At Betty's house, she sees the boys next door playing marbles and tries to join in; she proves better at things like walking on a fence than the boys, and even fares well with the goat the boys unleash. Bluto, the daring hot air balloon rider, catches the eye of Olive at a carnival, much to Popeye's chagrin. Bluto manages to make Popeye look bad several times, eventually winning a ring at the ball toss and taking her up in his balloon. Of course, he tries to get fresh with her, and Popeye comes to the rescue with the help of some fireworks. The hot air balloon gets a bit too hot, putting Olive in even more danger. (imdb)

Popeye and Olive are atop the highest peak in Yellowstone Park; Olive falls off into a deep hole, where a caveman and dinosaur are still living. Olive almost ends up in the dinosaur, but the caveman (longing for a woman) saves her. Olive falls for him, but Popeye, noticing Olive's absence, comes down and saves her from the caveman. They fight it out; the caveman stuffs Popeye into a not-quite-empty spinach can and feeds him to the dinosaur, but of course, Popeye breaks out and wins the day.

Winter is nearing its end. The snowmen are melting. Soon it will be spring: a time for renewal, with flowers sprouting, trees getting back their green, and various animals shedding their winter coats, coming out of hibernation, and singing the "Spring Song."

This cartoon concerns the efforts of a kitten, Gabriel, and a mouse, Peter, who apparently live in peaceful coexistence in the home of Parson Peaseporridge, to get the Parson to wake up at night and feed them their milk and cheese, respectively. The Parson repeatedly rises up, in a fit of sleepwalking, and reaches the cupboard, while muttering the need to feed the "churchkitten" and "churchmouse," but then proceeds to drink the milk and eat the cheese himself. All the animals are having a jolly-good time at the county fair; the ducks are riding the ferris-wheel while the elephants are quaffing peanuts, and a real-friendly cow is selling kisses at a buck each, and getting some takers. All the animals than go boat riding but are caught in a sudden rainstorm, which is the cue for the bouncing-ball to come bouncing along, and ask the audience to follow-the-bouncing-ball in group-singing "Wait 'till the Sun Shines, Nellie."

Little Audrey, by accident, hits the beat policeman while playing baseball on the street with her puppy. The policeman sends her to play in the park, where she gets into a motorboat, which sinks. The policeman, forgetting he can't swim, dives in to rescue the little girl. Audrey saves herself, and, seeing the police officer in danger, has the zoo elephants drain the lake. The grateful cop stops street traffic to play baseball with Audrey.
