Alma has become an aviatrix and wants Charlie's help in getting her plane ready for a flight, as he has become a blacksmith who has supposed expertise in mechanics.

Billy works at a film studio where lots of things keep going wrong. First, while filming, the camera man and director nearly get dropped off a building. This stunt is funny and rather realistic. Second, Billy looks in a keyhole at what he THINKS is a lady taking a bath--and she's soon joined by a man!

Ben Turpin, now engaged to a gold digger, goes to visit his former lover, a dancing girl at the theater. The dancing girl doesn't want to let Ben go and makes many empty threats. Eventually she follows Ben home and he is also visited be his fiancée and her mother.

Gus and Slim are working at a circus that is owned by the domineering Steve Skinner. After Gus and Slim have botched up several routines, Gus takes off in a horse cart, in order to avoid Skinner's wrath. But the cart is pulling a large crate filled with lions, and soon the two circus hands find themselves in the middle of an uncontrollable situation.
