In the remote countryside of southern France the fragments of a troubled family reconvene as seen by the youngest child, Aurelie (Cathy Hinderchied). The unexpected return of Aurelie's uncle after a 15 year absence eventually brings to the surface the threads of loyalty that underpin the family but also the violence underlying its tenuous existence.
