Linda, a single mother of three children, is going to jail to serve a lesser sentence for shoplifting. The children are not happy at the prospect of temporarily living in an orphanage, and persuade Linda to help bring the father back into the picture, until Linda is back.

This six-hour Christmas mini-series follows three brothers and their wives who spend the holidays in a cabin as stipulated in the will of their recently deceased father.
