Laila

Isahak (Mohanlal) is a fisherman who falls in love with Devi (Laila). They get married at sea and spend their first night at sea. But their happiness is short lived as Devi is arrested and jailed for murder on that very same night. It is on their fifth wedding anniversary that Isahak comes to know that Devi is being released on parole. This changes his whole world and brings joy to his life.

Nandha (Surya), as a child had to go to juvenile jail for killing his father, after his father beat him & his mother. Returning to the society as an adult, his mother refuses to accept him, but he is taken in by the local bigwig Periyavar (Raj Kiran), as his right-hand. Periyavar helps a group of Tamil refugees from Sri Lanka, including Kalyani (Laila), who becomes Nandha's love interest. Meanwhile, Periyavar is murdered by his son-in-law Durai (Saravanan), & Nandha goes on the hunt for Durai.

Three hotel management students - Deepu (Kunchako Boban), Alex Chandy aka Kunjoonju (Prithviraj), Ashtamurthy (Jayasurya) - come to live as tenants at the Pondicherry Inn, run by two sisters Kamala (Meera Jasmine) & Padma (Bhavana) & their mother Sofie (Kalaranjini). All 3 guys fall for Kamala & tries to woo her. Ashtamurthy falls out of the race after Kamala ties a "rakhi" on him. Kunjoonju makes passes at Kamala which results in a fight with Deepu & Kamala evicts them all from Pondicherry Inn.

Three men from diverse backgrounds are brought together in this action-packed drama. Set in Bombay amidst the threat of terrorist attacks, the story centers on vengeful cop Ajit (Ajay Devgan), lovelorn driver Amjad (Akshay Kumar) and struggling actor Avinash (Tusshar Kapoor). Despite differing circumstances, the men share one thing in common -- a secret that will change their lives forever.

Father Daniel (Captain Raju), the newly appointed junior priest of the town church, tries to unite the warring Hindus and Christians, with the Christians led by Kariyachan (K.P.A.C. Sunny) & Mathayichan (Rajan P. Dev) & the Hindus led by Raman Nair (Kollam Thulasi). He forms a music troupe, 'Rhythm Orchestra', along with lovers Roy (Vikram) & Hema (Laila), & also tries to unite them. Fr. Daniel faces stiff opposition from various quarters.

Krishna (Prasanna) & Ramya (Laila) hated each other as kids, with Ramya biting Krishna's cheek once. As adults, Ramya is chosen by Krishna's friend Arvind (Karthik Kumar) as his would-be bride, much to Krishna's shock. Ramya tries to please Arvind, acting as the coy girl, which actually causes Arvind to leave Ramya. Ramya blames Krishna for this, but a persistent Krishna tries to prove his innocence & also helps Ramya's family in their hour of need. Ramya & Krishna gets drawn to each other.

During a heated interview, TV journalist Pugazhendi (Arjun) accepts a challenge from the chief minister of Tamil Nadu (Raghuvaran) to run the state for a day and lands himself in hot water when he does the job a little too well.
