This is a funny comedy with decent acting. Shortly after WWII is over a group of female soldiers on a leave from the army are given a farm in the western Poland that was previously German territory. Their neighbors are a group of male soldiers who want that farm for themselves. The movie plays on feelings that both parties didn't quite have the time for in the army during wartime. (imdb)

Wiesław Graczyk, the head of the family is couched in the PKP. His wife Jadwiga deals with the house. They have three children: Malina, Rafał and the youngest - Lucuś. Graczykowie are often visited by Roman Bułkowski, their neighbor and Aniela, mother of Jadzia. Wiesiek is a henpecker and a moron, which does not stop Jadzia constantly suspecting him of numerous romances and threatening him with divorce. (Wikipedia)
