Ilias (Hajihristos) is pretending he's on patrol in order to protect his friend, Thomas (Vengos), who has broken into a nearby house. Unfortunately, a woman (Krevata) mistakens him for a genuine policeman and drags him into a house to investigate the disappearance of some jewels.

A comedy about a middle-aged man (Konstadaras), his three sons (Liaros, Papadopoulos, Ioannidis) and the lady (Kodou) he has fallen for. Based on the play "Mia Kyria Atyhisasa" by Christos Giannakopoulos and Alekos Sakellarios.

Alekos Kourouzos (Iliopoulos) is in love with Voula (Voulgari) and wants to marry her but first he has to deal with her strict brother, Grigoris (Protopapas) and his own parents (Zervos, Garbi) who believe that, according to the custom, his sister (Laskari) should get married first.

Thomas is a good but low intelligence man. He is in love with Urania, a widow, whose stingy husband Sotiris is over a year dead, as the ship he was sailing in, sunk. When Sotiris appears, explaining that he was hiding so as to get the life insurance money, Urania, who already has a love affair, convinces Thomas to murder him, pretending she is in love with him. Thomas indeed tries unsuccessfully. Everything is revealed, a trial ensues, where Thomas admits that he is 'an imbecile and a half'.

Two poor 'laterna" (a portable barrel piano) players meet by chance with Kaiti, a rich girl that has run away, as her father wants to marry her with someone she does not want. They have to choose between getting a big reward from her father or helping the girl who is madly in love with a poor guy. They chose the 2nd, but in the very happy end of the film, they get the reward as well. In this film two songs are sung for the first time: Garifalo st' afti, Eimai andras kai to kefi mou tha kano.

Isaias and Anargyros are partners in a matchmaking office. Business is not going well until Isaias' wife Kalliroi commits herself to help the situation.

An unemployed man who has just been released from the Army decides to impersonate the cards' fortune-teller in order to collect money so he can marry his girlfriend.
