The obstacles a couple (Vengos, Ipsilanti) face on their way to marriage.
A middle-aged meat trader tries to marry off his spinster and ugly sister, Eftyhia, to some unfortunate employee of his, so as to get married himself to his fiancee, who he is engaged to for 8 years. However, some money from a relative's will brings confusion, mayhem and endless laughter.
