Koottickal Jayachandran

Mohan Kumar (Suresh Gopi) is a young political firebrand whose power and influence is on the rise. In mysterious circumstances, his wife Reshmi (Sindhu Menon), a prominent social personality, commits suicide. Since the couple was not known to have had any marital discord, the police are entrusted with the task of unraveling the circumstances of her death. The step-brother of Mohan Kumar, Detective Shyama Prasad (Suresh Gopi), is put in charge of the case.

Solomon Joseph (Prithviraj), a corrupt & arrogant SI of Rajakkadu, Idukki, locks horns with ex-MLA Ummachan (Devan) over his younger brother Dennis's arrest & later Dennis dies in police custody by Solomon's hands. Solomon gets transferred to Badhiyadukka, Kasargod. In Badhiyadukka, Solomon alienates a local bigwig Arrackal Aboobecker Haji (Captain Raju) & he is attacked & left to die by his Haji's son Sharief. Solomon takes this incident to be a punishment for his past sins & becomes repentant.

Archeologist K.V. Prasad (Vineeth) comes to the forests of Wayanad for an excavation project, where he meets his old girlfriend from college, Bhanu (Bhavana), now the wife of a rich planter & hunter Gopinatha Menon (Indrajith). Shortly after Prasad's arrival, a man-eating tiger goes on the prowl in the forest, claiming several victims. Gopinath decides to hunt down the tiger, while stuck in an unhappy marriage, Bhanu reminisces about their past with Prasad.
