Director Shah Krishna compiled this compelling documentary of Indian cinema after spending two years searching through film archives from all over the world. Dr. Vijay is a psychiatrist and is in love with a beautiful young woman named Asha. He is stunned when another doctor refers Asha to him, as Asha has been having hallucinations and nightmares of a woman who comes to attack her and choke her to death so much so that her hostel warden has asked her to leave. Indu lives a middle-class lifestyle along with her widower dad. She attends college, meets with Raj, and both fall in love with each other. Raj follows her everywhere including a picnic, much to the chagrin of her College Teacher, but Indu shuns her and sings and dances with Raj. Thereafter both take off on Raj's motorbike. Some goons attempt to molest her, a scuffle ensues, Indu is abducted and subsequently thrown down a cliff and the car with the molesters in it explodes. (imdb)
