Kasturi

After getting insulted as being a bastard & almost losing his potential bride, Thangavel (Satyaraj), a policeman in CRPF, asks his grandparents & gets to know about his illicit father, the corrupt, power-hungry MLA, Nagaraja Cholan (Satyaraj), & how he cheated & deserted Thangavel's mother Thayamma (Kasturi) after he came to power & when she was pregnant with him. A vengeful Thangavel sets out to expose Nagaraja Cholan & to destroy him & his corrupt empire.

Premachandran aka Preman (Jayaram), a BCom grad, takes up the job of a driver at the house of brothers Kuttan Bava (Narendra Prasad) & younger Kunjan Bava (Rajan P. Dev). When Kuttan's daughter Ammu (Kasturi) & Kunjan's daughter Malu (Sangeetha) makes amorous overtures towards the handsome & educated Preman, he responds to keep his job, but finally resulting in Kuttan & Kunjan fixing his marriage with their respective daughters, not aware of each other's plans, with Preman torn between them.

Padmanabhan Nair (Jayaram), patriarch of the Vadakkedathu family, who had always kept a tight grip on family matters, starts losing his grip after his younger brother Sasi (Biju Menon) turns rebellious in search of good fortune after befriending upstart Sivan (Siddique). Despite being warned about Sivan's dubious ways, Sasi partners Sivan, including marrying off their sister Ammu (Lena) to him. However, when Sivan's true colors come to light, Sasi repents his string of foolish mistakes.

A bypass somewhere in Rajasthan, two violent muggers and a corrupt police officer but it seems there is something more to the story. (imdb)
