Junji Takada

Akino, Mihari, Hibiko and Azuki, the four beautiful Ninomiya sisters, have been entrusted with the management of the "Salamander Kinjiro Foundation". Their organisation receives several billion yen in grants from the government for the care of Kinjiro, a giant salamander and national treasure exhibited at the 1867 Paris World Expo by the 15th Shogun of Japan, Tokugawa Yoshinobu.

The main character gets no respect from his wife, kids, boss, and sexy coworkers. Inspired by superman he decides to don a cape and mask and go out to dole out justice to his sexually deviant boss. Things start to go awry when a cross-dressing coworker steals his costume, begins abusing his superhero powers, and eventually captures the main character's family.

Opens with a journalist reporting on the 1997 Kobe earthquake, as he remembers a trip made as a young boy. Then, he and family took a boat trip from Awaji to Beppu in order to bury the ashes of his elder brother, killed in the just-ended WWII. The lad spends much of the trip trying to talk his elder brother out of running away. They encounter an array of characters on the journey. (imdb)
