One day, during the recklessly truck driving he commits a lot of infractions, furthemore, he hits a passerby.The police intervenes. Romek is fired.The plenty of free time, he spends on a drinking bouts and a petty thefts, with the complicitors - his friends: Edek, Filip and Small.

Mały is a quiet country boy who works in construction. One day, he meets a student, Natalia, who is writing a thesis on employee hotels. The boy's dream is to find himself in a city house at least for a while. By chance, he finds out that Natalia is also writing a thesis about him. The boy will find understanding about Ania, a domestic help, who is in love with him.
