When the stranger Martin Poulsen arrives at a cosy little fishing village as the heir to one of the boats and a house in the harbour - and unwilling to sell - it comes as an inconvenient obstacle in the plans of the local fisherman baddie.

The German agent, 503 June Harvey has for some time during the occupation cost the Danish resistance movement a serious loss and it is decided to liquidate her. As this will happen, she is in Stockholm. A new man is sent to lure her to Denmark, but she is victorious of him. The group leader then decides to settle the matter himself. A young rescuer falls in love with her, and it costs him a great deal of overriding to complete the order.

One night there is a terrible accident in the little station town of Bredsted. The young son of the rich Mogens Kragfelt is struck by the Natekspressen (P. 903) near the station. Police chief Aagesen sends the young detective officer Lund (Jørn Jeppesen) to investigate the case, where there are various mysterious circumstances, among other things there are traces of fights at the rails just where Kragfelt was crossed.
