Mullamkolli Velayudhan (Mohanlal) is an orphan brought up by the chief of the village Valiya Nambiar (Madhu). Velayudhan is a drunkard & rules the village with his muscle power, but he is good at heart & keeps the evils of the modern world out of his tiny hamlet. Velayudhan is at constant odds with Valiya Nambiar's son-in-law Gopinathan (Siddique). Gopinathan, along with his cronies, Kuruppu (Jagathy Sreekumar) & Keeri Raghavan (Bheeman Raghu) hatches various schemes to get rid of Velayudhan.

After a rich business man James (Ratheesh) dies in mysterious circumstances, his relatives tries to prevent James's wife Susanna (Urvashi), & their son access to James's wealth by claiming that Susanna isn't legally married to James. Susanna enlists the help of George Korah Vettickal (Mammootty), an out-of-work lawyer to fight her case. Vettickal faces big troubles and threats from James's relatives as soon as he takes on the case, and initially falters, but later decides to fight back.

Unni (Dileep) tells his family that he is working in the Gulf but in reality, he runs an illegal spirit business with Bhai (Murali) in the Valayar area and is known there by the notorious name of "Valayar Paramasivam". When a young girl, Devi (Suchitra), gets killed during a train journey from Trivandrum to Madras, on board the No: 20 Madras Mail train, three young men - Tony Kurishinkal (Mohanlal), Hitchcock Kanjikuzhi (Manian Pillai Raju) & Kumbalam Hari (Jagadish) - suspected of murder, go on the run from the Police, & also tries to find the real murderer. They seeks help from & gets it from movie star Mammootty (Mammootty), who also happened to be a traveler on the train, the night the girl was killed.

Associate Editor of a major newspaper 'Kerala Reshmi', Nandagopal (Suresh Gopi), teams up with SP Firoz Mohammed (Biju Menon), to investigate the murder of his guru & Chief Editor of the tabloid 'Jagratha', Shekharan (Murali). They lock horns with criminal don Vishwanathan (N.F. Varghese) & his coterie of politicians & police officers. After Nandagopal gets framed for murder & gets beaten up in custody & Firoz is killed by Vishwanathan, Nandagopal decides to take matters into his own hands.

Narasimha Mannadiyar (Mammootty), the ruler of the village of Kamakshipuram tries to avenge the death of his younger brother Veerasimha Mannadiyar (Jayaram). Veerasimhan's killer, a criminal don Haider Marakkar, is sentenced to death by the court, but Haider keeps escaping the gallows. A fed-up Narasimha Mannadiyar decides to take matters into his own hands.

Antony Punnekadan IPS (Suresh Gopi), in charge of the case, arrests Arun but is saved by Ramesh, unaware of what Arun did to his sister. An enraged Devan tries to avenge his brother's death.

Captain Eshwar (Mammootty) & Wing Commander Zakir (Mukesh) are working on a top-secret airforce project codenamed 'Red Alert', at the Airforce Academy. A Kashmir based Islamic terrorist group, to get their hands on the project documents, blackmails & deploys a woman called Lakshmi (Mohini) to get close to Eshwar, after kidnapping her child. After Lakshmi refuses to follow through with the plan, the terrorists detain her. Eshwar, Zakir & a group of commandos launch a commando op to free her.

Antony (Prem Nazir) & Lawrence (Madhu), who grew up at the orphanage with the kindness of Fr. John (Balan K. Nair), parts ways. Vishnu Narayanan (Mammootty), a rich womanizer who lives a bachelor lifestyle away from his wife Seethalakshmi (Saritha) & mother (Sukumari), lends a virgin girl Indu (Mathu) from a pimp, Nair (Murali), for a week. During this period, Vishnu's family happens upon Indu, & in a bid to save his skin, he lies about Indu being his illicit daughter. Now, Seethalakshmi & Vishnu's mother can't let go of Indu, & Nair & Thomas Chacko (Thilakan), Nair's client in waiting, is after Vishnu to get Indu back.

Justice T. Vasudev (Babu Nampoothiri) & businessman Kuwait Mani (M.G. Soman), both pals, gets killed back-to-back & in each case, a piece of coconut husk is found shoved in their mouths. DSP Haridas Damodaran (Mammootty) investigates the case & finds that a friend of theirs, Rosario Fernandes (Devan), was killed the same way 2.5 years ago in Bombay. Haridas's suspicion falls on Rosario's mentally ill son, Christie (Suresh Gopi), who had recently absconded from the asylum he was being treated in.

9 Malayali trainees arrive at the Indian Army camp in Kashmir for Special Armed Training (SAT) & is faced with a martinet instructor, Nair (Mammootty). After cadet Antony (Mukesh) is killed by arms dealer Kumar (Devan) & Nair is blamed for it, he becomes a fugitive. When Nair gets wind of a plot by Kumar & another criminal James (Lalu Alex), to steal arms & ammunition from the SAT camp, he re-unites with his students, who were originally sent to kill him, to bust the operation & save the day.

Ex-smuggler & businessman Ananthan (Madhu) gets arrested in a politically motivated move by business rivals Chekkudi brothers, Mathew (Devan) & Cherian (Murali). Ananthan's son Arjun (Mohanlal), who was studying & romancing in Bangalore, returns to Kerala to take reins of Ananthan's business empire & to release Ananthan, but is repeatedly harassed by Chekkudi brothers & their coterie. Finally, when Ananthan is shot dead by the Chekkudi brothers, Arjun snaps & seeks revenge in his own terms.

Nair (Janardanan), in a plot laid out by K. J. Nair himself, takes off to Dubai where he becomes a multimillionaire businessman. But K. J. Nair doesn't let go, & tries to ruin Ravi by targeting his family & business through cohorts Krishan Narayan Bhatta (Nirmal Pandey) & liquor baron Victor Sebastian (Cochin Hanifa).

Krishnamoorthy aka GK (Mammootty) is crippled & jailed by minister Shankar (Devan) & politico Panicker (Jagannatha Varma), after GK tries to expose them for raping his friend Maria Fernandez (Sumalatha). After his release, GK helps four convicts, whom he befriended in jail, escape, uses them to pick off his political enemies & helps himself to first dibs on the news for his paper 'New Delhi Diary'. His sister Uma's (Urvashi) lover & staff newsman Suresh (Suresh Gopi) smells a rat.

Siddarth (Prithviraj), a computer Engineer, turns into a cyber hacker & thief, after he is framed & accused of swindling the bank he worked in, IBI Bank, of Rs. 20 lakhs. Seeking revenge against Nandakumara Menon (Biju Menon), who had framed him & who was now the owner of IBI Bank, Siddarth systematically loots the bank of crores of rupees from different customer accounts. Hot on his tail were cop-turned-cyber investigator Alexander Felix (Narein) & ACP Harris Mohammad (Jayasurya).

Gangster Bava (Thilakan) seeks revenge against Mahendra Varma (Narendra Prasad) of the royal Krishnapuram palace for the atrocities Varma had done to Bava in his younger days. For that, Bava gets out on bail, Varma's son-in-law Hariprasad (Suresh Gopi), who was accused & jailed for having murdered Varma's daughter Lakshmi (Kanaka). Bava's aim was to cause mental anguish to Varma & to later kill Hariprasad & blame that on Varma too, but Hariprasad catches onto Bava's game & tries to outwit him.

Paramu (Mammootty) & Johnny (Lalu Alex) frame businessman Unnithan (Azeez) for a murder Johnny commits & Johnny takes Unnithan's illicit cash for himself. Meanwhile, Paramu's boss McPherson (Sukumaran) asks Paramu to help him hide his black money. He entrusts the cash with Johnny, but the two fall out due to Unnithan's daughter Geetha (Shobana), whom Paramu liked but who was now a tart because of Johnny. Johnny tells McPherson that Paramu has embezzled the cash, turning McPherson against Paramu.

Gokul Das aka 'G' (Dileep), a reformed thug, takes up a job as a driver at the house of rich businessman Vishwanathan (Devan), where he tries to save Vishwanathan's daughter Sreepriya (Roma) from a group of contract killers. Escaping a kidnapping attempt from the group, G & Sreepriya gets lost in the jungle, causing back home, everyone, including ASP Ramachandran (Siddique), Vishwanathan's friend, suspects G & Sreepriya of having eloped together.

After saving Aravindan's life, Savithri gets a chance to listen to the circumstances regarding the murder from nurse Tresa (Parvathi), which puts things in a different light for her & she starts thinking about letting Aravindan escape again.

After Home Minister Sudhakaran's (Devan) daughter Meenakshi (Kavya Madhavan) is kidnapped, a mercenary fighter from the Mumbai underworld, Christy (Mohanlal), is hired to save her. Christy saves Meenakshi, but gets accused & jailed for the murder of her kidnapper, Georgekutty (Suresh Krishna), who also happened to be Christy's estranged brother-in-law. Averring his innocence & determined to prove it, Christy escapes from police custody & stays on in town to find Georgekutty's real killer.

Blamed for a murder they didn't commit, they get arrested by the cops, with the goons of a crime boss also after them.

Four ex-convicts - Aliyar (Thilakan), Ramayyan (Raghu), Hamsa (Babu Antony) & Antony (Mammootty) - serve life sentences & come out with the intention of murdering Haridas (Vishnuvardhan) & his 3 daughters, the ex-cop who was responsible for their arrests & the death of their families. They finally get to Haridas, but when he reveals on his deathbed that one of his 3 children was actually Antony's daughter, Antony is forced to turn against his friends to protect the girls.

Aliened lovers, ace cameraman Venu (Mohanlal) & reporter Renuka (Amala Paul), go on the run after they are duped into broadcasting a fake murder on TV, when the murdered man shows up alive later. This was a plot hatched by politico Bharathan Pillai (Saikumar) & businessman Rajan Kartha (Siddique) to mend their images, once ruined by Venu & Renuka in a previous sting operation. Venu & Renuka try to untangle the plot & prove their innocence, while battling their own torpid feelings for each other.

She, along with her husband Dr. Samuel George (Mammootty) & her brother-in-law James (Ratheesh), goes in search of the artifacts in her latest dream.

Puramanayil Chandran (Mohanlal), an NRI, is summoned by his family to his hometown to get married, where he runs across his childhood sweetheart Indira (Shobana), now married with a kid. Indira's estranged husband Dr. Reghuram (Adithya), an abusive junkie, doesn't take kindly to their meeting, & threatens Chandran's family. Seeing Indira's plight, Chandran gets protective of them.

Major Sreekumar (Jayaram), a cyber-terrorism expert in the Indian Army, develops a software to infiltrate enemy computers, but is attacked & shot by militants in Kashmir during his mission, which also mentally destabilizes his wife Leena (Mia George). They retire to a remote village in Kerala & live under false identities, until Sreekumar's commanding officer from the army, Tommy Eapen Devassy (Suresh Gopi), who was also Leena's family friend, tries to get Sreekumar back to fulfill his mission.

Upright customs officer Ravindran (Mammootty), who takes on smuggler Alexander (Thilakan) & his 3 sons Freddie (Captain Raju), Felix (Lalu Alex) & Stephen (Santhosh), finds evidence of Alexander selling state secrets to foreign enemies. Afterwards Alexander is found dead & Ravindran is sentenced to life for the crime.
