In this story of the early days of daylight bombing raids over Germany, General Frank Savage must take command of a "hard luck" bomber group. Much of the story deals with his struggle to whip his group into a diciplined fighting unit in spite of heavy losses, and withering attacks by German fighters over thier targets. As a result, the towns folk all think Tom is crazy, and creating a strained relationship between Tom and his father. Truck-firm owner Steve Reynolds gets involved in a feud with a rival firm, and shortly thereafter is slugged by a masked assailant who steals the truck he is driving. The assailant runs down a policeman in the truck and leaves other clues pointing to Reynolds as the cop killer. With only a glove, with diamonds stuck in the thumb,as a clue, and while evading the police and other characters after him and the diamonds, Reynolds finally runs down the guilty party and clears himself. Race Crim, a stagecoach guard, persuades the line's superintendent to allow young Jess Harker to drive the Silvr City stagecoach, which contains a gold shipment. Six outlaws attack the stage and Jess is wounded but Race kills three of the outlaws while the remaining three escape with several bags of gold. Race follows them while Jess takes the stage to Silver City. He joins the posse led by Sheriff Tom Davisson and they come upon the body of a fourth bandit killed by Race. (imdb)

A mutilating knife-killer haunts the small Southwest-desert town of Mescal. Though most victims have been prostitutes, the first was none other than Travis Mescal, the only son of the town's first family. Along the way, he confronts tension with the Sheriff, trouble with some citizens, and finally a killer whose motive we've heard before in Ripper-lore.

Steve Mallory (Lloyd Bridges), a returning war hero, has an uncanny resemblance to Dan Redfern (Lloyd Bridges), and a Secret Service agent has him impersonate Redfern, who unknown to the counterfeiting gang has been killed, infiltrate the forgers, find out the name of the leader and put an end to their activities from within.

Ranch-hands get their ideas challenged when a stranger shows up, telling them how good they have things.
