Insolent motorcycle daredevil Jota lives in permanent conflict with everything and everybody in his small town. No room for stillness. And then comes Margarida. Jota has no inside, Margarida has no outside. In spite of, or because of that, they meet.

A woman takes her young son, leaves her husband and moves in with her lover. The boy, desperate to get his parents back together, becomes convinced that if only he can get his father's stolen motorcycle back everything will be fine again, so he sets out to get enough money to buy his father a new one.

A newspaper reporter comes across a man and woman arguing on the beach, and after obligingly driving the woman around when she seeks him out, he takes her back to discover the man has been murdered. The woman, Ana, takes off, but Alvaro runs into her on a train. After Alvaro and Ana start a relationship of sorts, he tries to handle some personal difficulties. But as Ana comes in and out of his agenda, Alvaro had better pay closer attention to how he got to know her in the first place.

She's a journalist. He's a corrector of the stock market. Both of them live in the same private high security building but never met.
