Jeeva

Major Mahadevan (Mohanlal) is the head of an elite command force who is in charge of fighting the country's terrorist groups. Havildar Jaikumar (Jeevaa) is Mahadevan's most trusted lieutenant. An Afghan nawab, heading a terrorist group, plans to blow up the famous Hazrathbal shrine. As part of their attack, they enter the house of a Kashmiri family, torture everyone in the house and hold them hostage. How the elite commandos fight terrorists, forms the rest of the story.

Ashwin (Jiiva), a daredevil press photographer, surreptitiously helps a team of ambitious & educated youths, lead by Vasanthan (Ajmal Ameer), to win the state election by exposing their opposing politicians' corruption in his newspaper 'Dina Anjal', but after Vasanthan is sworn in as the Chief Minister, Ashwin realizes that not all was what it seems.
