Bud and Doyle stumble on what appears to be the opening of an ultra-modern shopping mall and duck in. Too late, they discover that they've compromised an experimental environmentally-controlled scientific community and they are sealed in for a solid year.

A man suspects his girlfriend of being unfaithful. So he sends her a letter, but than finds out that he was wrong. He has 24 hours to stop the package, prevent a disaster, and fall in love. The only problem is the delivery man will not stop until the package has been delivered.

Frank operates a Motel. He dreams of opening a club where he'll sing his country songs. His wife Helen is disparaging, so when a scheming chanteuse is dumped on Frank's front door, he is bewitched. The visitor (Julie) has dispatched Helen, set in motion a con for Frank's money, called her husband to come get her, and taken Frank's army buddy into the bathtub for some fun.
