After an acrimonious divorce from an abusive, impotent & psychopathic husband, Rathinavel (Nitin Sathya), Bhanu (Padmapriya) finds new love in the form of Ravichandran (Prithviraj), a software engineer, whom she later marries. However, Rathinavel doesn't let go & plans & abducts Bhanu & stages her death. With everyone believing Bhanu to be dead, Rathinavel locks her up in his house in Kochi, Kerala as a captive.

Deva (Surya Sivakumar), a youngster whose mother wants him to become a government official, instead works for a smuggling ring run by Arumuga Das (Prabhu), who has been looking after him since his childhood. Conflict occurs when Das's arch rival, Kamalesh (Akashdeep Saigal) opposes Das & Deva & tries to eliminate them from the smuggling business. Kamalesh, who was more ruthless than Das, turns to drug smuggling to make a quick buck & thus take a shortcut to overtake Das.

Ashwin (Jiiva), a daredevil press photographer, surreptitiously helps a team of ambitious & educated youths, lead by Vasanthan (Ajmal Ameer), to win the state election by exposing their opposing politicians' corruption in his newspaper 'Dina Anjal', but after Vasanthan is sworn in as the Chief Minister, Ashwin realizes that not all was what it seems.
