The Beckius family lives near the border with Russia. The youngest son, Armas, lives a wild life that ultimately leads to a break with the family and he then takes office in the Russian Revolution. When he returns to his home country a few years later, the family is on the enemy side.

The young millionaire Fridolf Johnson and his secretary comes back to Sweden from USA. The millionaire wants to have peace and quiet and change places with his secretary. The silly secretary really takes the opportunity to live the life of a rich man.
