Yumi Takigawa replaced popular actress-singer Meiko Kaji in this first of two spin-offs of the series begun with Joshu 701-go Sasori (1972). Takigawa is miscast in the part, with an overbearing effervescence which seems completely out of place. (allrovi.com)
