Robert Koch (German title: Robert Koch, der Bekämpfer des Todes) is a 1939 German historical drama film directed by Hans Steinhoff and starring Emil Jannings, Werner Krauss and Viktoria von Ballasko. The film was a biopic of the German pioneering microbiologist Robert Koch (1843-1910).

Lisa is going to Munich in the night train, to start training for a career in fashion; Martin is a young artist. They talk, and romance is in the air. As the end of the Second World War approaches and the Soviet Red Army is advancing, a group of concentration camp inmates is helped to escape by a Polish doctor.
