A boy gets a job for the summer helping the handyman where he lives, which leads him to meet a much older woman. He starts to fall in love and finds himself in the middle of nothing but complicated relations.

Before the final split can happen, Line discovers she has a virulent form of cancer.

A female first lieutenant is married to a NATO official who knows nothing about her military career. Moody complications arise when the man is recalled to serve in the company where she is an officer.

Women have joined the military in Denmark but can still not do active duty in the navy so it aggravates 3 women's unofficial visit on a navy ship due to an unannounced exercise at sea. Trying to hide the 3 leads to comical situations.
