A taxi driver, (Piel), finds an odd contraption on the back seat that renders him invisible, but his friend steals the device to rob a bank. An inventive comedy.
Harry Piel plays Harry Peel who receives an urgent telephone call from a friend who has returned from South America recently. The call is being made from the circus "Beely" and our hero arrives there too late to prevent the murder of his friend. Now Harry must find his friend's killer and go on a strange mission involving a hidden document.
On their way to a boxing competition in Buenos Aires, two criminal investigators, Harry Winkler of Berlin and Conny Steven of Scotland Yard, meet in Lisbon. Both have a 90 minute break before their ship departs for South America. They meet Ilse Siebeck whose uncle has been murdered, and Harry determines that the murderer is the same man who killed his own father a few years earlier.
Using his marauding robot and other futuristic weapons, power-crazed scientist Professor Ravello carries out various plots to win the hand of Evelyn away from her true love Harry Peel.
