Puffy and his girlfriend want to get married by a judge at the courthouse. However they go to a wrong door and he's mistaken for a defendant in a murder trial. Witnesses tell how he supposedly killed his nagging wife in different, implausible flashbacks, and Puffy can't seen to convince the motley jury of his innocence.

A professor who teaches dancing classes has few students. A janitor suggests advertising flyers from the printer downstairs. The printer's wife ends up with the sign printed on her dress in a series of slapstick escapades.
