Six construction workers are hired to work for one year on a secret government project. In the middle of winter they are driven to a secret location where suddenly it's summer.

A few friends builds a sailing boat together. They plan trips and during the completion of the boat marriages crumble, new relations blossom and the boat burns. They rebuild it and the families involved continue to rock on the stormy sea of emotion.
