Four friends, Etienne, Daniel, Simon and Bouly, have a hard time growing older and are still playing tricks among themselves. Etienne, who always stayed faithful to his wife, suddenly falls in love with Marthe after seeing her only once. He does everything he can to conquer her heart, "helped" by his friends. Hilarity ensues.
