Charlie is the favorite of his landlady, and the other boarders are jealous. He cares for her after she falls from a ladder. Her son photographs what looks like an amorous moment. He next photographs his father in a similar situation with another woman. That evening the boy puts on a slide show for the guests, resulting in a battle between Charlie and his landlady's husband. The scenario follows the book closely. Tarzan's son Jack (Korak to the apes) is kidnapped from England by Tarzan's old enemy Paulovich. He escapes into the African jungle with the help of Paulovich's trained ape Akut. There he meets Meriem, a white girl held by Arabs. He frees her and falls in love. Captain Matthews (John Elliot) is paid 40,000 dollars in cash by Nick Conrad (Bryant Washburn, who also played an attorney in 'Prison Mutiny') for his shipment of silk from China. About 15 seconds after he gets the cash, he's lured away on a false pretence and robbed by Conrad's henchmen.
