This type of learning institution has long vanished from the landscape being continued in Amish communities and such. While on the other side of the wall, the Arab-looking man is cheating people out of their money by staging a fake séance using state-of-the-art special effects. The nearby diamond mine is using this as an excuse not to ship diamonds back to HQ in South Africa. The mine president has sent a doctor, his beautiful daughter and her duenna to find out what is going on and to cure the natives. They are travelling on foot. Part of Universal's series of one-reel Bluebird Comedies, this one stars Arthur Lake as a student who's confined to his dorm room to study on the night of a big costume party. When Professor Wise (George B. French) comes to check up on him, he finds Lake in a bathrobe, book in hand. As soon as the prof leaves, Lake rips off the robe to expose his Scots costume.

Jimmy, who buys everything on the Easy Payment plan, wants to marry Betty who's dad believes Cash Is King.

Young Dick is pursuing pretty young Mary, but so are a lot of other young men. Dick decides to impersonate her butler and uses that position to keep all of Mary's suitors out of the house so he can work on her himself. When his ruse is discovered, he is thrown out of the house. That doesn't stop him. He gets the maid to help him concoct a story about Mary actually being bald and having false teeth, hoping to drive them away. It works, but it doesn't quite have the effect he intended it to.

Jimmie, an oil stock salesman, is roughly handled by a couple of shrewd promoters who have stolen a well from a poor girl. The latter saves our hero, who in turn gets the well back for her.

Tarzan and Jane are to sail for England. They are attacked by natives and Tarzan is believed to have been killed.

The Warrens have a full dress Navy wedding, but to sneak out on the reception guests, Dorothy disguises herself as a sailor. But she's caught up with a group of real sailors and finds herself aboard a battleship. Incredibly, nobody spots her as a small female impostor, causes foul ups and gets chased around the decks and cannons.
