"Vanity Fair" is a historical drama, based on the classic English novel written by William Thackeray, featuring Shirley Mason. Shirley Mason was 15 y.o. and played the role of the young Becky Sharp. Directors obviously took notice of her performance, because in 1917 she appeared in 17 feature films, in many of them playing the star role.

Short western melodrama. A cash-strapped operator is working far from his beloved. A criminal and his accomplice trying to force him to cooperate with the cause of a train crash.

A young woman swears revenge on the man who left her father destitute in the Alaska gold fields. She tracks him to the opera houses of New York, where he is a director. She becomes an opera star (!) and uses his infatuation with her to secure financial secrets with which to ruin him. But the man's daughter and a mysterious stranger combine to disrupt her plans.
