Checco Puglia is a young singer who dreams of success in show business. Angela, his girlfriend, leaves him because she wants something more stable, and build a family. Checco is in for a cold shower: sad and bitter, he leaves for Milan Puglia, hoping that the modern metropolis of the north will open the doors to success in music.

After landing a job as a servant to security in the Duomo of Milan, Checco, following a series of misunderstandings, meets Farah who introduces him to the world of Islam.
