Mogens and his wife Bitten gets a visit from their loving daughter and grandchild in their summer house. When their friends Janne and Steen arrive early for a dinner several secrets are revealed and tensions rise.

A girl and her boyfriend visits her father in northern Sweden, and the boyfriend and the father clearly lack respect of each other. Being all isolated on the island, a lot of awkward conversations quickly arise, and the couple are put in some unforeseen dilemmas.

JOHANNES lives together with his father, the middle-aged widower ULRIK in a small fishing town in the northern part of Denmark.
