Here it is nice to see Sennett playing a different character than his usual hillbilly lover. Sennett looks quite dashing as the big game hunter. He's quite comically cowardly when the real big game shows up. Mabel is so calm and natural with the bear that she appears like a goddess or other worldly creature. She acts as if she's doing the scene with a cat or dog. (imdb)

Fred Ward and Mack Sennett are two Spanish brothers seeking the hand of a lovely senorita played by Mabel Normand. They provide some simple amusement in this pleasant little ditty. A Keystone film, especially from the beginnings, is always worth attention.This film is notable for the profit which it manages to derive from derisory material. It plays more on the resources of comedy than those of burlesque.

In this classic comedy, a hotelier continues to find himself in promiscuous situations involving a newlywed bride on her honeymoon much to the chagrin of his wife.

Warner is an old veteran in love with the widow Simpson. His rival is an old farmer, named Burns. Warner stands in front of the old soldiers' home, telling a crowd of old veterans of the battles he took part in, and as he unfolds the tales the scenes are depicted in the film. Burns, with rake in his hand, listens doubtfully, makes a few sarcastic remarks and walks away. (imdb)

With her uncle she visits the seashore and goes bathing with a party of her brother's friends. Uncle also takes a dip and is annoyed at the perilous performance of the girl. He orders her from the water and locks her in her room, but brother releases her. He finally concludes that home is the best place for her, for there she will run no chance of drowning.
