This Educational Comedies one-reeler is all about Walter Catlett in his obnoxious mode as he somehow imposes himself completely on Al St. John and Dorothy Granger as they go on their honeymoon. Dorothy never seems to notice anything odd about this situation -- which renders it all the funnier -- while Al St. John builds up quite a head of steam in what amounts to a ten-minute slow burn, worthy of Edgar Kennedy at his best. Andy "Sunshine" Wilson, a happy-go-lucky vagabond, catches a ride with motorist Luckenbach who is on a suicide mission, and nearly succeeds in his mission. Luckenbach is a great portrait artist suffering under the slight handicap of being unable to "do ears." The artist has painted a beautiful portrait of the wife of Pietro Cellini with the exception that her left ear is several times larger than it should be and not painted very well at that. (imdb)

Glenn Tryon is at his Bachelor's Dinner, attended only by a dozen of his girl friends, prior to marrying Connie Watts but Ma Watts has plans for Connie to marry playboy Billy Bevan, who is unaware of Ma's intentions, as is Blondie who has plans of her own regarding Billy. The laughs here are only slightly less scarce than the chicken in the boarding house chicken-and-dumplings in "True Grit."

TECHNO-CRAZY has to be one of the strangest comedy shorts of the 1930's. Starring Monte Collins as a young man who dreams of technological progress in society bringing a "technocracy" that's a utopia and Billy Bevan as the Mayor, whose daughter Collins wants to marry, the short begins with a dream sequence where Collins is running a factory on his own and explaining to someone how no one needs to work in this new utopia and everything operates automatically.

This was the sixth of seven Moran and Mack shorts made and released by Educational Pictures. Here they end up in the boxing ring.

Dot Farley is throwing a benefit for cats but hasn't any. This means she calls up her husband, Edmund Breese, to bring some. He being busy with business deputes the job to Franklin Pangborn. Pangborn gets office boy Ray Cooke, and in no time at all, Breese has fleas.

When the story begins, a country cousin, Helen, arrives in Hollywood to make it big. She stays with her cousin and her friend and the pair assume Helen is very naïve since she's unfamiliar with the big city. However, again and again, Helen shocks them as she seems perfectly suited for the big time...and by the time she arrives at their apartment, a studio boss boss has ALREADY asked Helen to marry him!

Three girls apply for maid jobs at a resort but are taken for royalty when a telegram about their dog Queenie is intercepted.Film producers vie to put them under contract but selling a script idea finally saves them when the bill comes due.

Hollywood hopefuls Virginia Brooks, Rita Flynn and Phyllis Crane finally get a break and cast.... but when Miss Brooks is rehearsing a love scene with her leading man, boyfriend George Chandler doesn't realize it and knocks him down. Later, the director forgives them, and Miss Brooks kisses him..... and Chandler, at the craft table, starts throwing pies.

They start to wreck it in their playful mood when another student arrives disguised as the Dean, and they all vacate the premises. The student tells the proprietor that if he will returns the I.O.U.s signed by a student, he will see to it that the students visit his place every night. He, of course, is the student who signed the tab. But the real Dean then shows up.

Moran and Mack decide to attend the races and end up winning a large sum on a horse named Mud Lark. They decide that to make even more money, they need a horse of their own. They buy a horse with a broken leg from a crooked gambler, but manage to con the gambler into buying back his own horse.

The stereotype in old movies and TV shows is that the man hates his mother-in-law. Well, in "Loose Relations" it doesn't follow this convention, as Andy Clyde is actually happy that his mother-in-law is coming to stay with them and he plans on fixing up a place for her to stay. In a funny scene, when he tells his neighbors, they offer his an axe and a gun!

Bill's wife insists that he get her a fur coat, and since he cannot afford to buy one, he goes on a hunting trip, hoping to capture some furs himself. Meanwhile, a temperamental actress, needing a rest for her nerves, has made plans to visit the same hunting lodge where Bill will be staying. They and several others meet at the lodge, resulting in chaos and confusion.

Andy Wilson (Andy Clyde), a millionaire pig farmer from Kansas, comes to Chicago (unless New York has a stock yard district)looking for his girl friend, Natalie (Dorothy Christy) who had left the Sunflower state as she did not care much for the company of pigs and/or pig handlers, although Andy wasn't rich when she left, else she would have most likely been a bit more tolerant. Andy runs into his old friend Jake (Billy Bevan), who has been married for about a year to another belle from Kansas.

Andy Clyde is in desperate need of a vacation, and it's not exactly helping the stress.
