Sarli's married character simply can't remain faithful to her husband, even though she loves him dearly, and she takes every opportunity to sneak away with any man or woman who strikes her fancy. Her husband seeks advice from a psychologist about his wife's problem, describes her activity, and each following scene finds Sarli acting out and living the just-described scenario, and this continuous to-and-fro from the doctor's mouth to Sarli's ears goes on throughout most of the film's running time (imdb)
