Toward the end of World War II, a small company of American GI's occupy an ancient castle. Their commander has an affair with the countess in resident. One guy falls in love with a Volkswagon. This film which is billed as "the first horror-sex film" takes place in an isolated chateau. An artist is horrified when his wife's face is burned, and he decides to find a way to restore her to her former beauty. A plastic surgeon is forced to perform the operation which requires the supple flesh of beautiful young women. Janine Reynaud plays a sexually repressed woman who lives with her sister and her sister's doctor husband in a large house in the middle of the snowy nowhere of Europe. Observing the affection and overhearing the sounds of lovemaking between the sister and her husband soon begin to shatter the mind of Reynaud, and she begins to have sexual fantasies involving the husband, then fantasies about three-way relations between her, her sister and the husband.
