The story is set in a small town in the east Poland in Corpus Christi. People are preparing traditional Catholic procession. People looks rather happy, but not everything goes well. For example, one family unfortunately destroys white dress, which must be weared by girls during procession. At the same time two young men are travelling by car and talking about religion and lifestyle. One of them is an atheist, who criticise religions. Second man doesn't agree with him. Piotrus - together with his wife, mother-in-law and Leopold - moves to a new home: a historic manor house. Agnieszka, in turn, is pursuing a career at the university, but right after defending her doctorate, she suddenly discovers that she is pregnant. And when little Kuba is born... problems begin. Piotrus accompanies his sister during childbirth and begins to dream of a child himself - to Marlenka's horror.

Second half of the 1970s. Several teenagers from Ustrzyki Dolne, led by a charismatic and undisciplined student of the Ustrzyki vocational school, Siczka, decided to become punks and play punk rock. They were inspired by the Sex Pistols band heard on a foreign radio station and the new "punk" culture. First, they send a letter to Radio Free Europe asking for more "free people's music" on the air. To their amazement, the letter is read live, and the station starts airing a weekly punk show.
