David Starr

Alice Jeffries is an American college student who heads down to Mexico for spring break with one of her best friends. However, their vacation turns sour when the young women are arrested on drug charges and taken to jail. David Manning, house detective at the hotel where they were staying, has reason to believe Alice and her friend were set up, and his suspicions are confirmed when he learns that Alice's father is the governor of California.
