Chikako Yuri

This film chronicles a winter in the life of a young man at a temple on Mount Gassan in northern Japan.

A meek agent at the Showa Life Insurance company receives a phone call from a customer who says that she's planning to commit suicide and wants to know if her policy will pay out. Concerned about her safety, the agent visits her house only to find that her young son has hanged himself. As he investigates further, more and more people connected with this family start having "accidents," and if he's not careful, he might be next. (imdb)

This is a story of "Takechiyo," the previous name of Iemitsu Tokunaga, the third Shogun (General). Takechiyo (Ken Tanaka) got sick of daily run-of-the-mill tasks, and it put him off being the Shogun, saying "there is no truth". Then, Hikozaemon Ookubo (Eijiro Tono) took him to Tasuke Isshin (Jun Inoue) to bring him up into a full-fledged and admirable man.
