Mexican English teacher Pablo Fernandez seeks a better life for himself and his spoiled daughter Christina (5) after losing his wife in a hurricane. Pablo becomes a tomato picker as illegal immigrant in California. While driving his illegal employer Charlie's truck, he accidentally runs over Dinah Knightly (6), who later dies. Dumb, arrogant detective Bryant and brighter but superstitious rookie Steven Lightning investigate and set chase.

This show follows the life of two Mexican-American sisters, Emma and Lyn, from the Eastside of Los Angeles who couldn't be more different or distanced from each other. Circumstances force them to return to their old neighborhood, where they are confronted by the past and shocking truth about their mother's identity.

A 9 year old boy starts to hear the voice of God in his heart and begins a journey walking with Him and releasing God's love and supernatural power wherever he goes. His faith turns his town upside down. The boy has to overcome many obstacles both in his own uncertainty and in the people and culture around him. The story involves a once disillusioned pastor, his atheist dad (a news anchorman), a friend from school, and a rival newsgroup. The movie is inspired by true stories.
