A box of arms is discovered in an area under construction, leading to complications with a criminal-police-politician nexus. Balram (Mammootty), the no-nonsense police officer, one who figured in 'Aavanazhi' (1986), starts investigating. The evidence leads to Tharadas, played again by Mammootty as the suave smuggler of the 80's hit, 'Athirathram' (1984), who has now become an international criminal.

Arjun (Siddharth), grandson of wealthy businessman Krishna Rao (Nageshwara Rao) & wife (Waheeda Rehman), settled in Germany, is busy enjoying life & hates the idea of marriage. His grandma wanted to get him married, but she dies before this could happen. Krishna Rao retuns to India & Arjun follows, where Krishna Rao insists on his marriage. After knowing who Goutham was, Hareendranath tries to foil their relationship, but Goutham sidesteps his attempts & tightens his grip on Hareendranath & his influence on Shreya.

Thakur sides with Satbeer to inflict damage on Fauji, with the idea of taking care of Satbeer afterwards.
