    In the Wake of the Bounty
    Staged sequences re-enact the final voyage of the Bounty as angry sailors, led by Fletcher Christian (Errol Flynn), rise up against brutal Captain Bligh (Mayne Lynton), expelling the captain from the ship and eventually settling on Pitcairn Island, near Tahiti. In addition, documentary footage visits Pitcairn Island in 1933, offering a look at the place where Christian and his men took shelter and visiting with several islanders who are descendants of the Bounty's crew members.

    Jedda
    Jedda is an Aboriginal girl born on a cattle station and whose mother dies giving birth to her. She is brought to Sarah McMann, who has just lost her own baby and she raises Jedda as her own. Stockman Joe is in love with Jedda and wants to marry her.
