When the showboat hits town, two men use the parade as a distraction to rob the bank. Their accomplice is Pop, the clown from the showboat. He leaves the money on the boat and tells his daughter Patsy to bring it to him at a later stop on the river. When Patsy arrives without the money, both her and her father are made prisoners. This animated "children's" adaptation of the classic Stevenson novel highlight all the things that made the original so great: characters with an IQ of about 15, the digestion of poisons, and a comic relief cat.

Carol Adams introduces us to a juke box cafe where while she sings she serves couples who are sitting. They eventually raise up to jitterbug while she dances in the middle.
